Kor Yumurta started its journey in 1982 when its founder İsmail Kor won the Department of Animal Nutrition at Ege University Faculty of Agriculture; With 38 years of experience, it aims to produce eggs and chicken products at international standards.
Our story, which started in 1982 when our founder received his undergraduate education, continued with his master's degree in 1985 and his doctorate in 1990, while serving in the private sector, he carried out at the same time with his professional career. İsmail Kor, who worked as the Village-Tour Regional Manager between 1993-1995, carried this adventure to a different dimension in 1996 with the decisions of 5 April in a 24 m2 shop in İzmir Karşıyaka under the name of Tavukçu İsmail. İsmail Kor, who entered the chicken meat and egg sector by reflecting the knowledge and experience he has accumulated in his education life to the commercial field; In this process, it created a very serious customer portfolio and at the same time strengthened the success of the sector. Tavukçu İsmail, who has been serving in the sale of chicken meat and eggs for a long time; It soon made more serious investments in the sector by establishing a chicken farm in Kemalpaşa Armutlu.
The establishment of this farm, which also paved the way for the birth of the Kor Egg brand, played an important role in meeting the organic chicken and organic egg need in our country. Serüveni 1982 yılında kurucusu İsmail Kor’un Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Hayvan Besleme Bölümü’nü kazanması ile başlayan Kor Yumurta; 38 yıllık tecrübe ile yumurta ve tavuk ürünlerinde uluslararası standartlarda üretimi hedefler.
Kurucumuzun lisans eğitimini alması ile 1982 yılında başlayan hikayemiz, 1985 yılında Yüksek lisans, 1990 yılında Doktora çalışmaları ile devam etmiş, özel sektörde hizmet verirken uzmanlık kariyeri ile birlikte aynı zamanda yürütmüştür. 1993-1995 yılları arasında Köy-Tur bölge Müdürü olarak çalışan İsmail Kor, bu serüveni 5 Nisan kararları ile 1996 yılında İzmir Karşıyaka’da Tavukçu İsmail adı ile 24 m2’lik dükkanda farklı bir boyuta taşımıştır. Eğitim hayatında biriktirdiği bilgi ve tecrübeleri ticari alana yansıtarak piliç eti ve yumurta sektörüne giriş yapan İsmail Kor; bu süreçte çok ciddi bir müşteri portföyü oluşturmuş, aynı zamanda sektör başarısını sağlamlaştırmıştır. Piliç eti ve yumurta satışı konusunda uzun süre hizmet sunan Tavukçu İsmail; kısa süre sonra Kemalpaşa Armutlu’da bir tavuk çiftliği kurarak sektörde daha ciddi yatırımlar gerçekleştirmiştir.
Kor Yumurta markasının doğuşuna da zemin hazırlayan bu çiftliğin kuruluşu ülkemizdeki organik tavuk ve organik yumurta ihtiyacına cevap vermede önemli rol oynamıştır. Üretim kapasitesini günden güne arttırırken kalite ve standartlarından ödün vermeyen markamız Kipa gibi Türkiye’nin en önemli market zincirlerinden birinin öncelikli tercihi olmayı başarmıştır.
Ulusal başarılarını 2015 yılında uluslararası seviyeye taşımayı başaran Kor Yumurta Belçika merkezli International Taste & Quality Institute tarafından Organik Yumurta alanında ödül alarak Türkiye’nin bu alandaki gurur kaynağı olmuştur. Bahse konu ödülü kazanmayı başaran ilk ve tek marka olarak Kor Yumurta; İzmir’deki modern üretim tesislerinde besin değeri yüksek ürünlerle başarılarını sürdürmeye devam etmektedir.
