USING SPECIFICATIONS

• IPEK DRY COW Feed is used within 60 d of dry period for preparing cows for upcoming lactation
• Using IPEK DRY COW Feed is so important for getting maximum milk production and cow health in subsequent lactation. Thus nutrient requirements differ in this period
• Avoid to feed high energy feeds (corn silage, cracked grain) in this period
• High energy feeding in this period causes health problems and low milk yields in next lactation
• Overfeeding in this period causes body condition increments so that results in reproductive problems. Thus instead of feeding high energy feeds in this period, feed cows with good quality forages
• If IPEK DRY COW Feed is fed with available forages (dry hay, straw) to 600 kg of cow based on the following dietary program, safe and healthy transition between the lactations can be achieved
